挪威船级社(DNV)验证佐敦船舶涂料帮助船舶减少1110万吨二氧化碳(CO2)排放

为确保量化佐敦船舶涂料在2024年减少的二氧化碳(CO2)排放量,挪威船级社(DNV)开展了一项技术评估。经证实,佐敦船体性能解决方案(HPS)在2024年为客户减少了1110万吨碳排放,这一成果不仅验证了佐敦涂料的实效,更彰显了佐敦对清洁航运使命的践行。

此次减排验证采用DNV MASTERv2排放预测模型,结合船舶自动识别系统(AIS)数据及佐敦提供的五年坞修周期内平均航速损失数据进行技术分析。

"我们很荣幸能展示经第三方验证的船体性能方案为客户带来的减排效益。这意味着我们为环境保护作出了重大贡献,同时为客户节省了约20亿美元的燃料成本。"佐敦全球船体性能品类总监Morten Sten Johansen表示。

"根据美国环保署数据,这一减排量相当于230多万辆汽油乘用车行驶一年的排放总量。而挪威统计局数据显示,挪威2023年全国二氧化碳(CO2)排放量为3810万吨——由此可见我们的显著影响。这充分说明保持清洁船体所能产生的巨大环保效益。"

2024年佐敦涂料为船舶避免的1,110万吨二氧化碳排放量已通过验证,误差范围为±210万吨。该计算遵循ISO 19030标准,基于五年坞修周期中,以第一年为基准的后四年的平均航速损失。

Morten补充道:"作为行业领导者,我们通过保持船体清洁来实现节约燃料、减少碳排放和保护生物多样化的使命。这一实证将激励我们继续推动行业绿色转型,同时也希望能带动产业链各方共同努力。"
